About Us

Epworth Day School is a faith-based, early childhood education center, that offers your child a strong foundation in his or her early years.  Through a play-based curriculum, your child will experience God’s wonderful world through hands-on-activities.

We believe that each child is a gift from God.  We minister to your whole child as he or she grows mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally, through love, nurture, and respect from our qualified staff.  Epworth Day School is a community of families who care about each other and your child.

We provide a hot, nutritious lunch for your child each day, have Chapel time each week with our Pastor, and special music throughout the year.

We are located in downtown Norfolk, in the historic Epworth United Methodist Church, which is conveniently located near businesses, highways, hospitals, and interstates.  Our program is open year -round, Monday through Friday, as we serve children from age 6 weeks through kindergarten.  Our hours are 6:30 am. to 6:00 pm., with many program options for both full time or part time.
